Choosing a Wedding Venue
Thanks for coming to our blog, we look forward to talking much on weddings based our experience and teh experience of others who have planned a wedding in Zimbabwe.
One special aspect of your entire wedding planning is the venue. We are of course assuming that in this highly inflationary environment you have bypassed the event management company.
See, a lot of people have regretted having spoiled their special day by getting on to look for a substandard venue for various reasons from time constrains to limited finances. But see, we are saying you can still be able to get a reasonable venue at a reasonable price.
In looking for a venue, get concerned about the aeration of the place especially if people are going to crowd inside. You need a place that allows air to freely flow otherwise things will be spoiled. If the venue is small and has potential to be crowded then arrange some kind of air conditioning even though this may prove to be an additional cost at the end of the day. Also make sure that the restrooms at your venue of choice are able to accommodate the number of people you are going to invite.
Larger groups of guests require big enough restrooms to avoid a mess, more so when the people start taking toxic drinks etc.If you decide to have a reception at the same venue as the ceremony (and catering also done there), then it's a good idea to identify a venue with good grass and a garden all around to allow photos to be taken at the same place. Did you know that people lose a lot of time because of photographs taken at a garden too far away from the venue? We suggest that if possible try and get your ceremony, photos and reception done at the same locality.
The location of the venue itself is also equally important. This again depends on the profile of your wedding. If you want to keep a low profile and stick to a guest list and control your costs then find yourself a secluded venue accessible only to your invited guests. You don't want the whole city to end up at your wedding like some soap kitchen you know!
With this we would like to wish you a happy day and happy planning. So do we see you again tomorrow on another topic that is key to your planning process?
To Your Special Day!
